How does the SOS button work?

When you press the SOS button, Alerta:

1. Starts a phone call to police or ambulance.

2. Sends an SMS alert with your name, phone number, and GPS location to your selected contacts.

Even if internet is unavailable, the app uses fallback methods to deliver your SMS.
